Our friendly staff love looking after children and watching them grow and develop in the Stepping Stones environment.  All our staff have had the relevant criminal record checks for working with children and are constantly developing their skills with ongoing training and qualifications.

 

Sharon Hamilton – Manager

Sharon joined the pre-school in October 2002 and works at the pre-school 5 days a week as its manager.   Before joining Stepping Stones she was a full time mum to 2 girls who are both at primary school.  Sharon has a diploma in Pre-School Practice Qualification and loves to teach the children at Stepping Stones music and movement. 

 

Amanda Priestley - Special Eductional Needs Co-ordinator

Amanda joined the pre-school in January 2003.  She is currently studying for her NVQ3 in Early Years Education.  Amanda is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator for the pre-school, a qualified first aider and works 5 days a week.  Amanda is married with one daughter, who attends Crondall Primary School.

 

 

Janet Lawrenson - Pre-School Assistant 

 

Janet joined the pre-school in February 2004. Janet is married with 2 older children at university.  This is her first role within a pre-school setting and is very happy working 3 days a week as an assistant.  

Susan Wilson - Pre-School Assistant

Susan joined Stepping Stones in June 2005 and is currently undertaking her NVQ3 in Early Years Education, having gained her NVQ2 in 2007.  She is also a qualified first aider.  Susan has a little boy, who is at primary school, and two older children.
