Our aims are:

·        to enhance the development and education of children under school age, in a parent involving, community-based group

·         to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment

·         to work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and provide a sound foundation for the children’s school years.

All the children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace.  The pre-school is split into two rooms Pebbles for the under threes and Stones for the older children.

 

 

Our key worker system enables us to ensure a planned curriculum tailored to the needs of each individual child. Stepping Stones offers a curriculum that, through developmentally appropriate play activities, progresses children towards the early learning goals of the Foundation Stage and prepares them for the National Curriculum in primary school.
